Shrinking James.

Many of the visitors to the Lazy Ballerina cellar door have been confused lately by my change in appearance... I keeps getting mistaken for my younger brother (who doesn't exist).

How?

For the first five months I was on a very low calorie diet. Very low calorie diets (VLCD) are defined medically as a diet of 800 kilocalories per day or less.

I increased my exercise as I got thinner and fitter. Currently I aim to do five sessions in the gym a week, plus two sessions of training for the McLaren Districts Soccer team. Also I aim to do light weights, yoga and stretching before I go to bed at night. Just 10-20mins seems to help.

After completing the Very Low Calorie Diet I progressed to a Low Calorie Diet. I watch what I eat and aim to have 1500 calories per day.

And yes, I still drink wine and beer!
